overclocking mac mini
Andy recently got his Mac mini. If he wants to void his warranty and push some more electron-power into it, he can. Though, I'm not sure how well it would do with his already-often-crashing box. Hmm...


Heh I saw that article before. Pretty interesting. They do make it look easy. Still can't believe how small those jumpers are (or how fat that guy's thumb is).

But anyways, since one of the main reasons I got the Mac mini was for a quiet computer, I probably won't overclock it. I'd think bumpin it to 1.5ghz would make the fan work harder.

Oh and I've been crash free for a week. Yay. Hopefully Apple's not like like Microsoft and the recent upgrade to OSX 10.3.8 won't harm my system like Windows SP2 did to many systems.

Yea, I don't think you need all that speed anyhow; as the page says, it doesn't boost performance that much.
