tv gets googled
Google Video is finally adding permanancy to television media; and not only that, a way to search through it! Wow!

You can even get The Price is Right. Hot damn.

Wow. Simply wow. I only wish that they had more screens/summaries for the shows that pop up. But considering that they're likely gonna let you download the video in the future, that's not a big deal.

It's cool that Google does all this, but I wonder what they get out of it.

You see maps.google.com? Another beta product from those fine minds.

I think it's interesting how they even have drop shadows for the map objects...

Thanks for the info. Very cool.

Just spent a few seconds playing with it and zooming into various places. I like how you don't have to wait for the page to reload up the ass all of the time; that's what looks like the biggest thing (well, other than the non-ads).

I still like using Yahoo! Map's Yellow Pages deal to find things in my neighborhood. If Google had that too...

Google's doing crazy shit with javascript (and some other thing with XML) these days. They showed what they could do with gmail, and then there's the shit they did with Google Suggest and they're applying it to this now, it seems.

Shit, I just played with it a little more and the arrow keys work so you can scroll around the map with that. Tre kewl.
